After their unfortunate loss by default in the first round against the tournament's juggernaut, NXPE hopes to redeem themselves by putting up a fight against ECHO. With nothing on the line for the Nexplay squad, they look to try to dethrone the current top seed of the tournament. The hunger coming from the default loss is something that NXPE is bringing to the match-up in today's series. Will ECHO remain loud and proud or will NXPE prove that heavy traffic is the only hindrance for them to defeat the super team?
The early lane cuts from 3MarTzy's Thamuz, aided by Yawi's Grock, ensured that CADENZA's Franco would not be able to interfere with the jungling pattern of KarlTzy's Helcurt. KurtTzy's fast rotation with the Pharsa ensured that there is enough map vision and control for Bennyqt's Lunox to scale safely. This resulted in the disruption of Franco's rotation as they were left to react and wait patiently for the mistake of the opposing team.
However, the sheer tankiness of MP the King's Barats and the exquisite zoning capabilities of URESHIII's Esmeralda has helped the team brace themselves for impact every time ECHO would try to engage. It was this specific clash that had turned around the entirety of the game. With URESHIII at the helm, CADENZA's magnificent casting of the Iron Hook, DONUT's consistent damage per second, and YellyHaze's burst damage, they won this specific team fight that later on resulted in their win.
The second game of the series looked like a sure win for NXPE. Armed with almost the same composition as the previous game, they marched on to the game, now with fewer mistakes. The burst damage of Helcurt and Pharsa proved to be ineffective as the Barats merely absorbed all of the damage. The Dyrroth pick coming from URESHIII broke all of their opponents' armors, ensuring easy kills for the Brody pick of Donut. The Nexplay roar seems to be so loud for the ears of the super team as they sweep the series, 2-0.
