BREN Esports, for their last match this season, decides to change things up with a completely fresh lineup consisting of both veterans and rookies, but none from their main 5 showing up. Blacklist International, on the other hand, show up without OHEB as their gold laner for the first time this season--a major shake up for the viewers, but the first game marks the return of the KDA machine.

An immediate rotation coming in from Wise on the Pharsa even before the 1-minute mark allows for Blacklist International to swiftly take the first two kills against BREN, securing the farm and consequently Hadji's snowball on the Ling for the entire duration of the game.

From sidelane matchups to midlaner rotations, BREN Esports found it completely difficult to counter and answer BLCK and their initiations considering the tremendous gold lead that went into their hands early into the game. BLCK closes the game in 12 minutes, with a kill score of 19-4.

Entering game number 2, BREN Esports surprisingly does not ban a single hero during the banning phase, and opts to go for a Zilong pick--the first time it's used this season. Similarly, BLCK takes the recently revamped Odette to complete their lineup, and game number 2 just had so much unpredictability.

There were attempts to take pickoffs coming in from Ejhay and Coco on the Johnson and Jawhead respectively, and Malik committed himself to working on his farm throughout the duration of the game, but unsuccessful as they were BREN found it difficult to translate these attempts into the necessary objectives to secure the game.

Once more, however, BLCK takes control of the game with their precise execution of rotations as well as due to the compatibility of both teams' lineups, closing the series with a score of 2-0. We're yet to see the world champions bounce back, but for the meantime, this series marks the end of their run this season 8.
