The M3 Champions up against the MPL Superstars: Blacklist International sets foot into the Land of Dawn once again, with an attempt and desire to prove their new code once more. A team who is filled with hunger for redemption against a team who's yet to face defeat and struggle with their all-star lineup and dominant playstyle fashion. As early as the second week of the MPL Season 9, Both ECHO and BLCK have shown their flexibility in terms of being able to pull off double-fighter lineups in the midst of a marksmen-filled meta, or even by being able to pull off their previous seasons' meta. BLCK came into the fight seemingly ready to prove themselves for redemption as they take full control of the early game, a promising start for the world champions. However, the reason behind the Lancelot first pick coming in from ECHO came across crystal clear after a breathtaking utilization from Karltzy paired with accurate targeting of Eudora's burst potential from Kurttzy takes place against the not-so tanky early game composition of BLCK, not allowing for OHEB to take full control of the tempo he was seemingly starting to gain.

After a near-wipeout against the players of BLCK, ECHO was able to bounce back and turn the tables in the blink of an eye even despite and after a dominant early game from Blacklist International, immediately ending the game after that one beautiful execution of a teamfight--much to BLCK's disappointment.

Game number two had a flavor of its own, with surprise hero picks and strategies coming in once more from ECHO. A Johnson-Kadita mid combo from Kurttzy and Yawi respectively, topped off with the double petrify battle spells accompanying this strategy, in itself, could bring unimagineable surprise and unanticipated attacks for the side of Blacklist International. However, BLCK refuses to be rattled by the surprises, and rather strives to balance and answer the surprises from ECHO to the best of their capacity during the early stages of the game. Nonetheless, ECHO manages to still pull off their gameplan, constantly taking the members of BLCK by surprise.

Within 10 minutes into the second game, the gold lead in ECHO's hands already grew to almost twelve thousand (12,000), and there was not much left for BLCK to hold onto as they kept finding themselves at the mercy of ECHO and their unexpected attacks. Another clean sweep takes place for the MPL Season 9 Superstars, while the former champs are once again yet to accomplish their road to redemption.
