Coming from tremendous wins from the first week, the Kingslayers are looking to continue their momentum as they face off against the Former Kings. Being relatively new as a team, BREN seemed like a different team until they chose to go with a Fanny pick for Saxa. Her being buffed in the previous patches and RSG-PH's heroes not having the skillset to counter her posed a real threat to the team. However, it was the Kingslayers that prevailed as they quickly displayed the composure and chemistry that they honed in the previous seasons.

The early game easily went to BREN as they took the first blood against Light's Mathilda. Their rampage continued as Saxa went aggressive, forcing Light to regenerate in the base before the turtle fight. But RSG-PH was quick to their feet as they easily traded two (2) kills and a turtle objective after that clash. They also displayed extreme poise and composure as they tore down all of the outer turrets before the 8-minute mark. This gave them more map control, resulting in two (2) team fights in BREN's purple and red buffs that were highly in favour of RSG-PH. It was this pressure, with Nathzz' Esmeralda pick at the helm, that later on resulted in the Former King's loss in the first game.

The 2nd game started really well as Light was able to zone out Saxa's Paquito, giving a huge map control for RSG-PH. Coupled with Aqua's exquisite positioning and Light's magnificent playmaking capabilities, the game went smoothly as Demonkite's Lancelot was able to get pickoff, seemingly having unlimited dashes against BREN. EMANN's Wanwan, despite not being in the meta, dominated the Gold lane armored with the newly-buffed Inspire spell. BREN's might proved to lack its prowess as RSG-PH roars at the Former Kings, putting them at an undefeated spot in the 2nd week of MPL-PH.
