The day starts with contenders RSG and Smart Omega facing each other. Both teams have experienced winning and losing during the regular season which has helped in their journey this season. Last time they met, Smart Omega had swept them with a 2-0 score. Which team will come on top this time around for the rematch?

Game 1 draft starts with RSG picking up meta essentials such as Valentina, Karrie, and Franco. Along with two other heroes who have been recently changed, Fredrinn who has received quite a few nerfs and Esmeralda who has had her kit buffed. OMG on the other hand drafted quite the usual they would normally draft by taking aggressive heroes such as Pharsa and Beatrix. Edith and Khufra were utilized to zone and be at the front. Lancelot who has seen a recent rise in playtime being used as a utility core has also been picked up. Both teams seemed to not target ban anyone and focused on banning meta heroes seen a lot in pro-play.

Game 1 starts with both teams following standard rotations as the first turtle of the game spawns. The first major teamfight starts with OMG securing the turtle allowing them to hold the gold lead of around 500 gold. RSG answers back by picking off two members of OMG stealing the gold lead from them. This allowed RSG to comfortably retort OMG whenever they would come and clash. This would change during the first lord objective wherein OMG is able to secure leading them to take the first bigger gold lead of the game. At the second lord spawn, using the gold lead OMG had they successfully take the second lord with no problem using it to end the game allowing Smart Omega to take game 1.

Game 2’s draft starts with Omega this time following the same recipe with aggressive damage dealers, Beatrix and Yve. Followed by Chou and Edith along with their utility jungler Fredrinn. RSG this time around takes Lancelot away from OMG. They then build around this composition by drafting Kaja, Kadita, Yu Zhong, and Claude. Bans for both teams look similar by taking out meta heroes who can ruin their team compositions.

Game 2 starts with the first team fight starting during the first turtle spawn wherein both teams contest. H2wo on Lancelot is able to secure it away from Raizen allowing RSG to take momentum. This turtle paved the way for RSG to continuously hold and grow their gold lead until the thousands. This has allowed team RSG to take all the following objectives with almost no problem. OMG tried their best to hold out and find openings but unfortunately for them, RSG’s discipline was too much to handle when they sieged OMG’s base after the third lord slay giving RSG game 2 and equalizing the series at a 1-1 scoreline.

The tie-breaker game 3’s draft starts with RSG still utilizing the Claude and Lancelot picks. They take away OMG’s Chou and Yve while drafting the Thamuz as their offlaner. OMG strikes back by taking back the Kaja. Harith and Valentina were drafted as well to serve as the damage dealers while Fredrinn and Arlott to be the zoners. The bans stayed similar with both teams banning out popular picks.

Game 3 starts with very aggressive plays right from the start with Light and Nathzz diving in taking first blood by slaying Louis followed by a counterplay coming from Mikko wherein he gets a double kill from the two ultimately getting slain by the tower after bringing the skill score under 1 minute to a 2-2. The next major team fight happens during the first turtle clash where Raizen is able to successfully secure it. Following a blueprint from game 2, the first turtle secure has allowed OMG to ride off the momentum earning them a comfortable gold lead as the game progresses. In the same fashion, as OMG secured the second lord, they were able to successfully take the base of RSG earning them the game ending the series at a 2-1 scoreline in favor of Smart Omega.
