RSG Philippines had a successful debut last week with their revamped roster against the likes of Onic Philippines. Today, they will be facing Smart Omega who had a shaky start losing their first two matchups. Now facing off, will Smart Omega be able to break their losestreak and overcome RSG Philippines?

Smart Omega starts off game 1 by taking out multiple roamers such as Kaja, Kadita, and Khufra. They then pick their core damage dealers of the game, Kelra’s Harith and Raizen’s Hayabusa. The draft is finished with a balance of Ruby, Freddrin, and Valentina. Smart Omega looks to be focusing on a pick-off draft looking to catch RSG by surprise. RSG on the other hand takes out all around heroes including Fanny, Wanwan, and Faramis. They then decide to pick fairly flexible heroes such as the Martis, Gloo, and Moscov. They season their draft by picking Light’s Chou and Exort’s Pharsa in the second half. RSG proves to have a very tanky and all around team composition.
The game starts with RSG holding a decently sized gold lead after they take first blood as they slay Mikko and take the first turtle objective. RSG continued to dominate the game by taking all the other turtle objectives and even securing the first lord, leading to a comfortable gold lead of about 3,000. Smart Omega continued to struggle more as RSG eventually took the second lord of the game, increasing their gold lead to 6,000. It is not until the third lord where Kelra successfully steals it away from the currently dominating RSG. It is with this steal that Smart Omega starts lowering RSG’s gold lead until they eventually make it their own. A long lord dance skirmish commences for the 4th lord eventually falling into the side of Smart Omega as RSG loses members after a few pick-offs. It is with this lord that Smart Omega is able to turn the tides of the battle and take game 1 for themselves.

RSG starts off their draft by banning similar heroes such as the Fanny and Faramis while they take for themselves the Fredrinn and Valentina. Their draft is completed as the team also picks up Franco, Karrie, and Yu Zhong hoping to beat Omega by picking off heroes during clashes. Smart Omega for game two continues to prioritize Kelra’s Harith as they also take Exort’s Pharsa. They then take up the flexible Khufra and Lapu-Lapu. Omega for their final pick surprises the audience as they pick up Lancelot who makes his debut in season 11. Smart Omega looks to continue their dominance by picking up clash heavy heroes.

Game two starts with the first big teamfight happening around the first turtle objective. Smart Omega is able to take first blood by taking down Nathzz’s Yu Zhong but RSG is successful with the objective as H2wo’s retribution takes away the turtle from Smart Omega. Despite RSG taking two more turtles, Smart Omega is able to hold a gold lead of around 2,000 as they continue to pick-off RSG’s heroes. Smart Omega secures the first lord and takes down an inhibitor of RSG but they retaliate by successfully defending the lord and taking down two heroes from Smart Omega. RSG start the lord dance for the second lord as they advance but great teamfight maneuvers from Smart Omega allow them to take down four heroes from RSG and even take the lord allowing them to finish off the game and take their first ever series win in season 11.
