Both coming from losses that dropped them in the lower bracket yesterday, the reigning runner-up of MPL-PH S8, and the team who is well-known for its "Playoffs Mode" go head-to-head in today's series to survive yet another day in the competition. Will Kairi secure enough early pickoffs to ensure that the momentum is on their side or will the signature Ch4kmamba flex on their opponent to pave the way for Kelra? Is ONIC Time enough to be on the top 3 or will OMG prove just why they are the Kings of the SEA?

The early game easily went in the favor of ONIC-PH. In a little over four (4) minutes, Kairi's Lancelot has already secured four (4) kills. It felt as if the game was already in their favor as they were able to capitalize on the early advantage of the Lancelot pick. However, Raizen's Karina, despite being punished for initiations in the early game, kept his composure as he was able to outretri the Lancelot, securing three (3) to none turtles in their favor. That, coupled with Ch4knu's exquisite playmaking capabilities, E2MAX's Lylia's consistent damage per second, and Kelra with Beatrix's immense burst damage, has resulted in OMG taking back the advantage in the mid-game. True enough, the Chakmamba is back as Barangay Omega marches and stomps on the momentum that ONIC-PH was able to get in the early phases of the match. OMG takes game #1.

Slow and steady was the theme of the 2nd game of this do-or-die series between ONIC-PH and Smart Omega. Nine (9) minutes into the game, all of the middle lane turrets are still intact, with ONIC leading by 2.6k in gold. The draft of OMG, E2MAX with the Cecilion and Kelra with the Beatrix, heavily relies on a huge amount of time for farming. This first five-man clash of the game in the first lord pit, which highly favored OMG due to Raizen's lord stealing from Kairi, signified the comeback of the Late Game Kings.

Just right after getting their first lord and taking control of the map, it was this clutch play by Ch4knu with Franco, hooking Baloyskie's Khufra, and burst by the rest of the team, that helped boost the momentum that they have slowly been gaining. This enabled them to close down the gold gap and helped position them 60 seconds before the next lord objective. Another magnificent Iron Hook from Ch4knu later on at the base of ONIC-PH resulted in Dlarskie's (Dyrroth) death, which then secured game #2 for the side of Smart Omega. ONIC-PH needs to recover and recollect themselves as OMG takes advantage of the series, 2-0.

Similar to the first two (2) games, it was ONIC-PH that took control of the early game. However, OMG this time was quick to react to the early game pressure that ONIC was giving them. Capitalizing on the solo kill by Kelra's Beatrix against Markyyyyy's Brody in the early game, still with the ever consistent Ch4kmamba sets using the Franco, OMG continued to ravage the seemingly distraught team of ONIC-PH. Due to this, it was apparent that Kelra would destroy anyone that stands against their path. Smart Omega just shows why it is a viper that is so venomous that they can annihilate any team that goes against them. From sweeping the super team, ECHO, and now, handing the M3 Runner-up utter defeat, OMG is now one step away from reclaiming their throne as the Kings of Southeast Asia. Smart Omega, the Late Game Kings, the so-considered 'poison' during Playoffs, sweeps ONIC-PH, 3-0.
