NXPE, fresh from their recent success against RSG PH, were as promising as they could be especially as they were able to pick up the Ling for H2wo once more, whereas an immediate pick to counter through Aldous was the answer and one of the centers of Echo’s lineup which was as threatening as it could be for the side of NXPE. Although both teams and their potential were threatening enough which made it crucial for them to know when and how to execute their duties, it was surprisingly the supposed ‘counters’ who were countered during this game. NXPE did not allow for Hadess on the Aldous nor Bennyqt on the Alice to go online, and they knew when to avoid or take on their fights. RENEJAY on the Kaja provided the necessary additional support they needed to prevent the heroes of Echo from doing their job, and NXP was able to secure the first game of the series only within 15 minutes.

Game number 2 was the battle of comforts, as Rafflesia finally secures his famous Chou, Yawi was able to take the Jawhead, and H2wo takes his Ling once more. Even so, NXPE’s momentum remained superior and was evident throughout this game. Echo found it difficult to burst down heroes from NXPE, although they were able to show us a different flavor in terms of their lineup: putting in Aaronqt in place of Rk3 for their midlaner, putting back Rafflesia, and trying out certain strategies altogether, but it is through this series especially during game 2 that we could say that we’re yet to see how they can utilize a lineup with early game potential sidelaners. As much as there was a clear attempt from Echo to keep up with NXPE and their early game capabilities, NXPE and their mastery of the Ling as a part of their lineup was clearly the better team for tonight’s matchup. NXPE’s stellar performance this week has certainly surprised us all, but we’re yet to see the perfect formula from Echo as well as they surely have and are actively working on it as of the moment.
