TNC Pro Team has yet experience their first victory for this season, they were sitting at the bottom of ladder experimenting their 10-man line up while Onic Philippines recently faced and lost against one of the biggest obstacle of the League, Blacklist International. One team is struggling at the bottom while the other sitting comfortably in the middle of the pack. Can TNC finally end their losing streak in the league against Onic or will Onic take this as an easy match up especially as they were fighting head-to-head against the league’s best?

For game number one’s draft, the bans of both teams were screaming a Fredrin first pick as Onic banned out Kadita, Faramis, and Fanny while TNC banned out high mobility heroes and the very popular Kaja. Onic had a great fist three pick as they also secured Lapu-Lapu and an Yve while TNC’s first picks were pretty squishy as they had Melissa, Pharsa and a Diggie. Onic banned out Martis and Gloo to limit the possible tank hero of TNC while TNC focused on dealing with high mobility AOE marksman like Claude and a pickoff Assassin like Natalia as they had a very fragile line up. Onic finished their draft with a Beatrix and Franco while TNC picked Yu Zhong and Chou to fill up their missing tanks.

There were numerous skirmishes around the map trading objectives, despite the pretty even trades, TNC had the small lead in terms of gold. However, when the Lord spawned, both teams had their full commitment, Onic came out the Victor as Sensui took down the Lord, they were wiped out all outer turrets of TNC and shrink the gold lead of TNC down to less than a thousand. The following two Lords were surprisingly secured by TNC’s roamer, Benthing. However, they were not able to capitalize the Lord takes because of the natural capability of Onic to clear waves due to Yve and Beatrix. Despite wasting their Lord, TNC tried to knock Onic’s base and successfully took down the turret as they were able to take down both Ryota and SUPER FRINCE. With 2 men down, TNC continued pressuring Onic spearheaded by both Innocent’s Melissa and Escalera’s Pharsa. TNC Pro Team successfully wiped out Onic, claiming their first win for this season up against the Hedgehogs.

The bans for the second game was pretty similar to the game number one with the exception to the respect ban for the Benthings’ Diggie. A surprising Pharsa first pick for the side of Onic Philippines while TNC locked in the very flexible Fredrinn and a Claude. Onic then answered with a Karrie and a Lolita to have both set ups and shred needed to take down the Fredrinn and nullify Claude. TNC Pro Team this time went for the hit or miss Hanzo pick while Onic emulate K1NGKONG’s Chou jungler from the previous game.

The momentum is high from the side of TNC, they had won all the objective takes in early game and built up a very substantial lead. K1NGKONG and Innocent was very spectacular as they shred the members of Onic Philippines in multiple skirmishes, out scaling Onic since the beginning. TNC turned into a new leaf as they secured the second Lord as well as picking off Onic’s jungler. With 4v5, Hanzo and a Claude on the side of TNC, Onic watched helplessly as these two heroes tear their base. A successful rebirth of the Rising Phoenix as TNC Pro Team swept Onic Philippines 2-0 with insurmountable odds from caster’s prediction.
