ONIC Philippines is filled with motivation as they have a chance to break the code twice in a row.

Despite the recent patch that nerfed competitive heroes in the MPL, both teams are still using their signature heroes with a little twist as Edward opted for the buffed Lapu-Lapu in the Exp Lane and Sensui opted for a suprise Minotaur Jungler. You really can’t just nerf the players.

The teams are even in the early game as there are not many skirmishes around the map. The real fight started when the lord spawned. A huge 4-man Minoan Fury coming from Sensui secured Onic Philippines a kill into Oheb’s Wanwan even before both Hadji and OhMyV33NUS cast their ultimates. Losing Wanwan meant Blacklist had no damage dealer to confront 5 members of Onic and lost the map control. 14 minutes into the game, Hadji managed to catch Nets’ Irithel forcing Onic to give Blacklist full control over the Lord. Onic committed the same mistake 21 minutes into the game, this time it was SUPER FRINCE who was caught by Hadji. Blacklist International secured the Lord unfortunately, a huge Minoan Fury from Sensui secured a kill into Oheb, turning the momentum against Blacklist. Onic Philippines was eager to end the game, Rapidoot tried to pick off Estes however, the time was not enough as members of Blacklist already respawned. Ghost Bursters from Hadji dealt devastating damage to the clustered members of Onic despite them under the effect of Cult Altar. Onic was close yet so far as Blacklist International outsurvived Onic Philippines in this fantastic game.

For the second game of the series, Blacklist was able to secure both Faramis and Valentina as they did with Nexplay Evos. In this game, Blacklist was just dominating every lane. Blacklist was able to accumulate ten thousand gold lead 10 minutes into the game. Just a minute later, Onic’s base was gone and was waiting for a miracle to happen. Blacklist froze the lanes and took the Lord. The Lord marched towards the middle lane together with the members of Blacklist International. Onic tried to defend their base however it did not matter, Blacklist was just too far ahead. The testament lives on, they have never been beaten by the same team twice and secured a 2-0 series win.
