The final clash of two world class teams in the second half of MPL Philippines Season 11, Blacklist International vs Echo Philippines. The now defending world champion had set a new standard for MPL Philippines as they dominate the first half of the season while the former champion were struggling with 4-3 score. Can Echo once again decode the new code of Blacklist International or did Blacklist encoded their new code?

Echo targetted OhMyV33nus' heroes while Blacklist targetted non San-San duo heroes such as Chou, Fredrinn, and Wanwan. We get too see the staple Pharsa first pick from MPL teams while Blacklist opted to have a their own copy of Feather Airstrike using Valentina and a sustain jungler, Alice was locked in by Wise. Echo then picked Yu Zhong as it was hard counter for Pharsa and a Claude locked in. Blacklist answered with Faramis then Echo banned out meta marksman such as Melissa and Brody while Blacklist removed Akai and Kaja. A surprising Lancelot pick from Karltzy and the return of Valir roam as a counter to Faramis by Echo.

Yawi and Sanji were a pain for OhMyV33nus and Yue as there were lot of pokes coming from the side of Echo. The first turtle was secured by Wise despite having a number disadvantage at the cost of his life, while it seemed to be an even trade, it was a lost for Blacklist as it was an Alice that died and stacks was denied from Wise.  Wise was caught in the middle lane by Searing Torrent from Yawi and Feather Airstrike of Sanji while Sanford was on the disadvantage when it comes to 1v1 against Edward's Arlott almost killing him. However, this did not take away the opportunity for Echo to secure the second turtle as it was secured by Karltzy. A pretty back and forth clash Lord dances for both Blacklist and Echo until 19 minutes into game as the 30 seconds before the Lord spawned. A great Black Dragon Transformation chased and landed on the members of Blacklist rendered Cult Altar useless as Echo shred through their HP bars. Echo was able to pin down 4 members of Blacklist International ending the game with Edward the lone survivor trying to recall back to his base.

An action pack early game was presented to us by both Blacklist and Echo, however, it was Blacklist International that profited from those skirmishes. Yue had half of the kills 5 minutes in, it was a really scary Valentina that had a presence  all around the map. Blacklist secured all three turtles and the lead they built from the early game snowballed as even Yawi’s Hilda, and KarlTzy’s Dyroth tank was obliterated by the burst coming from the members of Blacklist. Echo had the idea of comeback as they were able still make some play as evident when they kill an isolated Wise while Yawi was buying time for his team. Despite the effort of Echo Philippines to extend the game, the Lord taken by Blacklist in addition to their 6 thousand gold lead were proven to be too much for Echo as Edward’s Final Slash tear through the members of Echo and their Echo’s base crumble in just under 11 minutes.

This time's draft was pretty similar to game number 1 as Echo still banned out OhMyV33nus heroes and Blacklist banned out the heroes of non San-San duo. Just like game number 1, Blacklist went for an Alice jungler while Echo still went for a Tankcelot. A Joy was opened this time, giving away Arlott to Edward once again. Unlike game number Blacklist had a Kaja this time for hold, hoping to pick off heroes before full time clashing while Echo had a Ruby for initiation and counter initiation.

The early game of game number three was a magnificent work of the San-San duo, Sanji and Sanford, in addition to the plays from Yawi. Despite the good play from Edward, the line up of Echo was too mobile for the members of Blacklist International as they were out rotate for most part. 7 minutes into game, Blacklist thought they cornered Sanford in the gold lane however, the members of Echo reacted too quickly and was able to flank the chasing members of blacklist, despite that, both teams managed to leave the fight without casualties. By the time the Lord spawn, Echo had superior initiation, Sanford being a pain for the backline of Blacklist, Echo was able to secure the Lord at the cost of Sanford’s life. With the Lord siege, Echo was able to destroy all outer turrets of Blacklist and the gold lead ballooned to Eight Thousand gold lead. With Echo having the map control, Blacklist did not even had the chance to contest the Lord. With Lord marching together with Echo having a Twelve Thousand gold lead, they easily penetrated the inhibitor turret. A flicker + I’m Offended combo from Yawi caught 3 members of Blacklist plus the follow up from the other members of Echo allowed Echo to base lock Blacklist ending the game in just 14 minutes. With this, Echo proven that they were the better team twice in this season.
