Setsuna "Dogie" Ignacio and Sanford "Sanford" Vinuya enjoyed a victorious debut in Season 8 of the Mobile Legends Professional League Philippines as Nexplay EVOS secured the No. 3 seed in the playoffs.

Nexplay battled back from a series-opening loss to topple Omega Esports, 2-1, in the final match of the regular season on Sunday, October 10.
