Johnmar “OhMyV33NUS” Villaluna was thrilled after Blacklist International gave Omega Esports a dose of their own medicine on Saturday night.

The Tier One-backed squad played from behind both times but eventually found the right timing to trip the Smart-powered team and complete the 2-0 sweep that gave them the early lead in the standings.

“Most of the matches namin against Omega parang mas madalas kami yung kina-comeback nila but this time siguro, isa yun sa mga natutunan namin na kami naman yung magco-comeback sa kanila,” said OhMyV33NUS after the win.

Omega Esports, through the brilliance of Kielvj “Kielvj” Hernandez on Valentina, built a 9-3 kill advantage and an almost 9K gold lead against Blacklist International in Game Two while only surrendering one turret in the process.

In the final siege entering the 18th minute, Blacklist International successfully defended its base while also erasing Kielvj in the equation. Renz “Renzio” Cadua’ Esmeralda, Duane “Kelra” Pillas’ Wanwan, Dean “Raizen” Sumagui’s Akai followed, respectively, as the reigning M3 World Champions made it a four-man wipe en route to the win.

“Kasi meron kaming Xavier and meron kaming Beatrix so confident kami na kaya naming i-def yung push nila,” OhMyV33NUS said. “Kailangan lang siguro naming iwasan yung pana ng Selena and ayun nga, kailangan lang namin makuha yung tamang defensive items namin which is yung anti-Wanwan na Winter Truncheon and then Wind of Nature.

“Nung nakuha na namin yun confident na kami na kapag sinubukan nila kaming i-clash, doon na kami lalamang.”

Blacklist International also scored a come-from-behind win in Game One after turning things around in the 16th minute via a three-man wipe.

Indeed, it was a sweet win for the Southeast Asian Games gold medalist as she finally gave the M3 World Champion skin its first victory in the MPL Philippines Season 10.
