RSG Slate Philippines debut game on MPL PH Season 11 after they failed to secure a spot for M4 World Championship. A breaking news of smiling Demon and Aqua decided to take a break from competing. The team had numerous acquisitions including H2wo as a replacement for Demonkite, Kouzen for Gold Lane, Kirk for Exp Lane, and a new assistant coach, John Theo Eusebio. The King of SEA is matched against the Season 10 rookies, the former Monster Anarchy and now the Onic Philippines which had a very minor roster change as their Roamer-Captain Rapidoot now plays for Onic Arsenal which the MDL team of Onic.

The drafting phase was leaded by RSG Slate as they managed to pick their priority picks like Gloo, Kadita and Chou while Onic Philippines decided to go for a counter draft by picking a Diggie as their Roamer. Onic Philippines had a very potent early game draft that falls off in the late game as they had a Brody as a Gold Lane and a Grock Jungler while RSG is focused on pickoffs and isolation plays.

Onic Philippines had the upper hand for the most part of the game. Onic secured most of the objective up until 18 minutes when H2wo was able to secure the Lord for RSG Philippines at the cost of his own life. Now, with the Lord marching they were able to turnaround the gold lead built up by Onic. Minutes long Lord fight were initiated by both teams but the stalemate were broken by Exort's kills on both SUPER FRINCE and Kekedoot as well as a Lord secure, fortunately for Onic, they were able to defend the 4th Lord of the game. As the 5th Lord spawned, RSG was able to pick off Sensui's Grock, capitalizing on the fact that the game was 4v5. RSG Philippines forced Onic a teamfight, wiped them out and ended the game 20 seconds shy of 30 minutes.

Onic's attempt to counter a Kadita in game number one failed, they decided to banned it out together with Fanny and Faramis while RSG banned out mobile heroes such as Joy and Wanwan and Gloo as they were second pick. Despite losing the game number one using Valentina, Onic Philippines decided to still prioritize it while RSG Slate went for a Pharsa- Fredrinn first pick. Onic answered back with a Beatrix steal and a Martis jungle to counter Fredrinn's lockdown Crowd Controls. Just as Onic thought they cornered Emann, he picked up a Melissa to counter Beatrix' lane dominance. A very even draft for both teams as they went for a very similar composition that focuses on heavy sustain and crowd control heavy set ups.

Despite Onic Philippines securing most of the objectives just like game number one, RSG Philippines had the upper hand in most teamfights. Big props to Emann in combination to Exort's Feathered Airstrike that RSG was able to extend the game until they eventually secure a Lord in the 18th minute mark. Completely turning around the map control, they proceeded to destroy the Inhibitor Turrets of Onic and a game ending clashing that gave Emann a Maniac, almost the first Savage of MPL-PH Season 11 if not for the positioning of Nets.
