After 2 long seasons, the fourth seed BREN Esports is back on the playoffs stage matched against the infamous “Lason”, the fifth seed Smart Omega in an elimination match of their playoffs run.

A bloody early game for side of BREN Esports, they had the superior positioning in the turtle pit where we thought it was an easy objective take however, the vision from Ch4knu proved to be very crucial to Raizen as he was able to secure 2 turtles. With Cult Altar available for the side of Smart Omega, they were not afraid to take on little to huge skirmishes. 8 minutes into the game, Omega was just bullying Bren even under their own turret. The massive lead that Omega accumulated translated into a free Lord take that allowed them to continue their tempo and demolish every outer turret of Bren Esports. Bren Esports tried to contest the Lord despite having 2 levels down compared to Omega’s jungler.

The massive lead of Omega was very evident as they burst down a fully stacked Barats and Kadita as a bonus. The Lord siege managed to take the remaining turrets of Bren. Great damage from Super Marco however, a Cult Altar ensured that Barangay Omega had no casualty. Omega with minions on their side and two members of Bren Esports down, they managed to take game number one just before their own Omega Timer.

Despite the momentum built by Smart Omega, we could see the difference in the new draft by Bren Esports. A huge fight broke out as the first turtle spawned; however, it was Ch4knu who secured the first turtle despite the presence of both junglers. In addition, Kelra also secured a solo kill against Super Marco in the gold lane. Despite the Omega winning the early aggressions, Bren Esports managed to catch up and fight back. However, the gold lead of Omega is still evident as they secured the first lord freely. As the Lord sieged bottom, Ch4knu tried to catch Super Marcos however, his Fatal Links missed its target by a hair. Bren in turn punished Ch4knu and prevented Omega from further siege. 11 minutes into the game, Bren had a conceal play in the middle lane unfortunately, they were unable to catch anyone there.

Seeing this failed engagement attempt, Omega then sandwiched the members of Bren Esports however, an ultimate from Pandora scared Omega away, resetting the fight. As the Lord spawned, Owgwen had another conceal play unfortunately again, he failed to catch anyone. A huge 2-man Fatal Links from Ch4knu and a Niberu’s Passion from Kelra took out the flanking members of Bren then they proceeded to chase their fleeing opponents. A surprise wiped out coming from Omega immediately secured game number two, bringing the series to a match point.

With Bren in a near-death situation during their playoffs run, they had a desperate and insanely good draft. With Omega getting comfortable, they pulled out the first Lesley pick for this Season and an unusual Mathilda pick for Ch4knu. This time around, Bren had the gold lead in the early game, a great turtle positioning ensured Omega can’t contest. In addition, the Black Dragon Transformation of Pandora also secured a kill into Renzio’s Fredrinn. Despite having a superior position and manpower, Raizen was still able to steal the third turtle of the game, shrinking the lead Bren Esports desperately built. 9 minutes into the game, Omega went for a fight despite Bren Esports securing the first Lord, Kelra went deep to kill Pandora, and just when we thought he was dead. He went for a flicker out and a Gliding Wind from Ch4knu saved Kelra. 40 seconds before the next Lord spawns, with 1 member down for both team, Omega had an element of surprise unfortunately, Bren somehow knew Raizen will be coming from the back and punished him instead using Way of the Dragon. Omega without their jungler, Bren immediately burst down the Lord.

A great zone using Black Dragon Transformation ensured the members of Omega can’t contest. With the Lord siege, Bren took down 2 inhibitor turrets of Omega. Another good flanking position by Raizen again, however, Bren somehow knew as Super Marco juked his way out of Raizen’s combo. A disastrous clash from Omega as the Lord spawned, killing 3 of their members. Despite Raizen killing Pheww in the backline, Kelra can’t defend against 4 members of Bren. Flipping the tempo into the hands of Bren Esports.

Another do or die game for Bren as Omega is in the match point, they unleash a really wild double assassin line up against a very well balance and old school line up of Omega. A great engagement from double assassin of Bren Esports almost wipe out Omega in just 6 minutes. Multiple Guardian’s Barrier and Wild Charges secured few kills just before the Lord spawned. Bren Esports secured the first Lord uncontested, this allowed Bren Esports to wipe out the outer turrets of Omega. Bren Esports secured another Lord uncontested, this time they look forward to Omega’s base. The burst damage from both Super Marco and Pheww did not leave any time for Omega to react. With this, Bren Esports secured a game number five from a 2-0 deficit.

The name of the game for Omega suddenly became Omega timers as Bren Esports managed to come back from a 0-2 deficit. They went for a Melissa and a Cecillion while Bren secured a Claude. A troublesome 2 kills secured for Pheww’s Pharsa in less than 3 minutes but Omega answered immediately after, they pressured gold lane and killed Pheww in the process. However, this meant a free turtle for the side of Bren Esports since they spotted the members of Omega in the gold lane. Things were looking grim for the side of Omega as the only answer they had was their only kill on Pheww. With their lead and momentum, Bren Esports kept on pressuring Omega.

They eventually secured 2 base turrets of Smart Omega and waited until the second Lord spawns. 13 minutes into the game, Bren Esports took the Lord and managed their minion waves well. As the Lord marched closer to Omega, a huge Flicker + I’m Offended! Combo from Owgren caught Kelra and Raizen off guard, and together with the burst from Feather Airstrike, they immediately shaved off 2 members of Omega. Despite the last desperate struggle of Ch4knu, Renzio, and E2MAX, the remaining members of Bren together with the Lord ended Omega’s final struggle. A nerve-wracking and near impossible reverse sweep from Bren Esports defeated the playoffs poison, Smart Omega, 3-2.
