The M2 World champions, Bren Esports, lost their first season 11 matchup to Echo but took momentum as they brought down Onic Philippines during week one. NXPE on the other hand with their revamped roster had a successful debut with a clean sweep against TNC. As they face each other, which team will prevail and continue their MPL S11 winning streak?

Game 1 draft begins with Bren banning out standard meta picks namely the Wanwan, Joy, and Gloo. Bren secures the Valentina using their first pick while also picking up Fredrinn and Melissa during the first phase. They complete their draft by taking the Lapu-Lapu and the Diggie. With their team composition, Bren looks to run a teamfight central lineup. NXPE on the other hand prioritizes meta picks such as the Faramis, Martis, and Benedetta. During the second half they pick up the Karrie and Kadita which is usually banned out. NXPE focused their bans on heroes that could counter their lineup such as Fanny, Yve, and Atlas. NXPE drafts proves to favor them in long lasting teamfights.
The game starts with NXPE rushing in and taking first blood by slaying Pheww’s Valentina not even a minute into the game. Not so long after, NXPE’s GoyongDR and BruskoDR combo their skills to once again take down Pheww which brings the gold lead of NXPE to around 800 at merely two minutes into the game. With their gold lead, they continue to take the next two turtle objectives furthering their gold lead. Bren Esports is able to slowly lower the lead as they start picking off NXPE’s heroes at a more frequent pace. By the first lord, Bren were on track to take the lord but a retribution steal by BoyetDR allows NXPE to stay in the game. A shocking repeat of history happens when Bren tries securing the second lord but once again gets stolen by BoyetDR. The third lord finally gets secured by Bren as they take down NXPE’s jungler before starting the objective but NXPE defend their base. On the 4th and final lord of the game, BoyetDR once again steals the lord but Bren is able to retaliate by almost wiping NXPE out allowing them to close the game and take game one.

Bren starts off game 2 by once again first picking their Valentina. NXPE on the other hand responds by picking Yu Zhong and Fredrinn. Bren used their bans to take out pick off heroes such as the Kadita and Kaja while NXPE focused on general meta picks namely Joy, Wanwan, and Fanny. Bren completes their draft by taking yet again the Lapu-Lapu while also picking up the Ruby, Karrie, and Hayabusa. While NXPE seasons their draft by adding the picks of Brody, Chou, and a Kagura that worked wonders for them in their last series. Both teams seem to have a well balanced line-up that would both do well in teamfights.
Bren starts game two well by securing the first turtle objective while even taking down multiple members of NXPE. This lead allows Bren to smoothly flow into the game by also taking the second turtle objective. The securance of two turtle objectives allow Bren to lead a comfortable gold lead that scales well into them taking the third turtle objective. By the first lord, Bren is able to once again secure the objective increasing their gold lead to about 5,000. Bren plays a very disciplined game as they wait for objectives while taking fights they can win, increasing their gold lead and keeping them in the lead. Bren secures the second lord even furthering their gold lead to around 10,000. As Bren marches forward, NXPE is successful defending as they take down the lord and even pick off Kyletzy for a 5v4 matchup. NXPE try to go for a conceal play on Bren after being pushed back but the tables are turned when Bren retaliates with a clash of their own almost wiping NXPE out. With a similar fashion to game 1, Bren is able to close out game two after winning the last clash, closing out the series and giving Bren the matchup win.
