Both Smart Omega and Bren Esports fell short on their first matches against Onic Philippines and Echo Philippines respectively. Now that they are matched against each other, which team will prevail and which team will have a 0-2 score on the first week of MPL-PH Season 11?

Bren Esports hated pickoff centric heroes for this match against the Smart Omega as they banned out Kadita and Kaja while Omega banned out very mobile heroes. Gloo priority for the side of Bren while Omega answered with the very popular Valentina-Fredrinn combination. A Kyletzy specialty Hayabusa was locked in together with a Pharsa for Pheww while a Claude locked in for Kelra. The second phase of bans were focused on the marksman of Super Marco and Mikko’s roam heroes. Despite this, a solid draft from Brenn with their long range set ups and engages from Khufra, Pharsa and Beatrix while Omega checks on Kyletzy’s jungle as they had a very aggressive roam and jungler.

The aggressive line up of Omega allowed them to take free Turtles in the first 5 minutes of the game. However, the long range engages from Bren Esports allowed them to punish Omega’s positioning in the map. A rare sight for Kelra as he is 0/2 and three thousand (3000) gold behind Super Marco in just 12 minutes. By the time the second Lord was secured for the side of Bren Esports, they had an Eight Thousand (8000) gold and it was too much for the front line of Omega as Mikko was 3 shot by Super Marco. Bren continued their base rush together with the Lord, ending the game in just 14 minutes.

Bren Esports still held to their bans while Omega let go of Fanny to ban Gloo. An unusual first pick for the side of Bren Esports as they stole Fredrinn from Omega, this time, Omega still pick Valentina but replaced Fredrinn with Grock as their first pick. Just as we thought it was a Fredrinn jungle for Bren, Kyletzy locked in  Fanny and Faramis for Pheww. A Moscov counter pick for the side of Omega as well as a Franco for hooks and suppression against Fanny and Harith.

Cross map skirmishes were held in the first few minutes of the game, evening out the kill score while Bren had the gold lead because of their objective takes. Just before the first Lord take, Kyletzy’s tower dive on Stowm went wrong as he was punished by Kelra’s spear under the tower, taking a double kill on both Flaptzy and Kyletzy. Omega was able to secure a Lord thanks to that play however, failed to capitalize as they only managed to the first three outermost turrets of Bren. A conceal play from Mikko and a blind hook onto the middle lane bush caught Owgwen but then saved by Pheww’s Cult Altar. Follow up from Bren Esports was immaculate as Kyltzy as able to cable onto 5 members of Omega and a huge Tyrant’s Revenge allowed Bren to wiped out Omega with no casualities, ending the series with 2-0 sweep.
