The first day of MPL-PH S10 has shown us why the VeeWise tandem together with Oheb, Hadji, and Edward was feared both in the local and international Esports scene as the final boss. They have proven it yet again on the second day of the tournament up against Barangay Omega.

Barangay Omega pulled off a surprising double fighter lineup against the prime Blacklist International roster. OMG exerted a lot of pressure on Edward’s Thamuz in the early game, forcing his KDA to 0/3/2 in a little more than 5 minutes. However, this is not without a cost, this provided opportunities for Oheb to farm and get his much need items for his Claude. BLCK started a lord dance at 9 minutes but OMG knew the bait and instead took down BLCK’s middle tower. Despite having a superior positioning in the lord pit, OMG surprised BLCK with a flanking play from Renzio’s Baxia and Kelra’s Esmeralda that resulted in a triple kill plus a lord secure to the side of OMG.

Disregarding the fact that OMG has taken the lord, the respawned BLCK forcibly tries to push the mid lane surprised OMG. In a later fight, as Hadji burned Brilliance on his Lunox to back away from the lord, Renzio and Raizen tried to punish him only to find themselves in the middle of 4 members of BLCK. After losing 2 of their members, OMG disengaged and gave away a game-costing lord.  

For the second game of the series, OMG changed its strategy and went for a marksman to match BLCK's superior late game. This time, Kielvj on his Valentina making plays around the map, bursting members of Blacklist International before they can be sustained by Estes, in addition to copying OhMyV33NUS’ Blessing of the Moon Goddess to replicate the latter's sustain. As OMG tried to close the game by the 15th-minute mark, the pokes given by Hadji on his Xavier were proven to be lethal as shotgun-equipped Oheb depleted the remaining HP of Omega and wreak havoc on the Barangay’s base. Securing the series 2-0 against the world-class contender.
