As they defeated RSG, Nexplay Evos is now moving on to the next round after two seasons of disappointments. The team finally found their winning formula with Renejay holding the offlane role and the ever reliant Hesa spearheading the damage in the late game as the gold laner for the roaring boys in white and blue. In a scintillating manner Evos dismantled RSG in three quick games as Hesa shined in games 1 and 2. After the come from behind victory in game one, Nexplay finished the game in a quick manner putting RSG in 6th-7th place. If history suggests Onic will have the upperhand as they defeat NXPE in their two previous games. However this is the first time that they will meet the new lineup of NXPE. The battle for supremacy will start as NXPE holds the first pick on their side securing the Jawhead for Yawi. Onic on the other hand secured Selena and Paquito to start their playoff run. A surprise Wanwan pick of Hesa shocked the system for Onic as Nexplay secured the counter for the Uranus of Dlarskie. The game started with Onic securing vital objectives that paved the way for their continuous attack from Onic. The Selena pick of Beemo secured visions and the accuracy of his abyssal arrow started every teamfight and they controlled the map as they swiftly destroyed Nexplay in a methodical approach. H2wo (Yi-Sun-Shin) had a hard time securing his farm thanks to Beemo’s invasion. But the star of the match is the gold laner of Onic. Markyyyyyy solidifies the damage department of Onic as Claude outplays his counterpart Hesa who has been a revelation this season. After dealing most of the damage for Onic Paquito (Kairi) finished every clash with his deadly punches. The game is so smooth for the side of Onic that they made Yawi (Jawhead) a non-factor during the game. It was a gut punch that gave Nexplay a reality check.

And it was a different start for game two as Nexplay secured an early game centric lineup as they secured the Roger for H2wo to counter the Lancelot of Kairi. Yellyhaze and Yawi secured their niche pick as well as Selena and Khufra were picked respectively. Nexplay focused on the objectives in the early game as they created space for the Natan of Hesa. It was all Nexplay for the earlier part of the game until Onic gained their composure and secured their own objectives. Beemo (Rafaela) and Kairi (Lancelot) punished every momentum that Nexplay wanted to create and they also shut down the split push of Renejay and his Benedetta. The same story happened in the second part of the game as Markyyyy and his Kimmy extinguished every chance that Nexplay was creating and shut down every door that they had during the match. Baloyskie played an important role to burst down every initiation by Nexplay with his Kagura. Even the Yuzhong pick for the General Dlar was a wall to climb as he tackled every chance of Benedetta to push. All in all it was a flawless victory for the boys in yellow brand.

Game three was a nail on the coffin as Onic Ph decimated Nexplay in every way. Early game was a flex as Selena of Baloyskie created possibilities as his abyssal traps and arrows countered every chance of Yawi’s Khufra to create plays for Nexplay. Beemo and his Ruby gave the much needed crowd control as he butchered Nexplay in every chance possible. Ling (Kairi) provided the assasination as he pounced on Nexplay everytime he saw them on the map. But the ultimate trap card for game three is the switch of Markyyyy and Hatred as he picked Aldous. The technicalities had changed since the switch and it seems to be the focal point of attack fo Onic PH. Even though Renejay (Lapu-Lapu) gave Nexplay a fighting chance the damage is severely lacking as Hayabusa (H2wo) was neutered by the invasion of Onic Ph. This game is a testament that the way to the throne is very hard, Onic showed Nexplay how it is done as they will patiently wait for the winner of Omega and Blacklist in the upper bracket finals. Nexplay on the other hand had a great lesson to bring here as they bow to a cool, calm, and collected Onic Ph and they will fight for their tournament lives as they face the losing team of the next match-up.
